Sammie Frazer
DISTRICT ROTARACT REPRESENTATIVE (DRR)
Sammie is so excited to be serving as this year’s District 5340 Rotaract Representative! She is in her second and final year of the Biostatistics Master’s program at San Diego State and joined SDSU Rotaract in Fall 2023. She was first introduced to Rotary as a freshman in high school when she joined Interact. Since joining Rotaract, she has served as the Co-Director of Social Activities and Director of Finance for SDSU, as well as Director of Events for the District. Camp RYLA is one of her favorite service events, especially because she attended District 5170’s RYLA in 2019. The community that Sammie has found within Rotaract has made her time at SDSU so memorable and brought her some of her closest friends. She is so excited to work with the District Council team and can’t wait to see what this year will bring!
Kathleen Dang
DISTRICT ROTARACT REPRESENTATIVE-ELECT (DRRE)
Kathleen is a Human Resource Management student who will be graduating in the Fall of 2026. She joined SDSU Rotaract in the Spring 2025 semester. In the District Council, she is excited to work alongside an amazing group of people and see Rotaract grow and keep it strong for the next year. Outside of Rotaract, she loves to spend time with her dog Cookie!
Wasi Nugsiang
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
Wasi is an International Business student at UC San Diego and has been part of Rotary’s global network for 6 years, starting in Interact as her high school’s Treasurer. At UCSD Rotaract, she's served as Secretary, then President, and now continues her passion through District 5340 in her third year as Director of Finance. In her free time, she enjoys playing badminton, watching movies, and is excited to keep helping Rotaract clubs grow stronger together as a district!
Kripa Mayureshwar
DIRECTOR OF RECORDS
Kripa graduated from San Diego State University this past May with a degree in Quantitative Economics and minors in Mathematics and Computer Science, and has since been working as a software developer at a startup. She is currently a member of the City Heights Rotaract club. As Director of Records, she is excited to get to know the people who make up our Rotaract community and help strengthen the connections between clubs and the District Council!
Kate Woo
DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC RELATIONS
Kate is a third-year student studying Communication with an Honors Minor in Interdisciplinary Studies. She recently joined SDSU Rotaract in the Spring 2026 semester and kicked off her service by facilitating at Camp Enterprise. Through her work in media with SDSU’s International Programs and an international nonprofit organization, she developed the skills she is now excited to apply as the Director of Public Relations!
Lin Meyers
DIRECTOR OF SERVICE
Lin is a fourth-year Finance student from Hawaii. She joined SDSU Rotaract in Fall 2023, making this her fourth year. Her favorite service events include Camp Lead, Miracle League, and the famous Ensenada Service Trip. She looks forward to planning service events in the San Diego community and bringing all San Diego Rotaracters together for them! Outside of Rotaract, she loves traveling, going to new cafes, and spending time with family and friends!
Gabrielle Nelson
DIRECTOR OF EVENTS
Gabby is a third-year student at UC San Diego majoring in International Business and minoring in Accounting. She is the current Treasurer of UCSD Rotaract. As the Director of Special Events, she is looking forward to planning events that help everyone connect across all Rotaract clubs!
Lara Oca
DIRECTOR OF ROTARACT AFFAIRS
Lara is a double major in Business Economics and Urban Studies and Planning. She joined UCSD Rotaract in her freshman year in 2024 and will be serving her second term as Membership Director this academic year. As the District Council’s Director of Rotaract Affairs, she is looking forward to fostering stronger connections between the Rotaracts of 5340!
Lucia Pierdant
DIRECTOR OF VOCATIONAL SERVICE
Lucia is a second-year student majoring in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration. She joined SDSU Rotaract last year and is excited to become more involved this year. As Director of Vocational Service, she's most looking forward to connecting members with professional development and mentorship opportunities that help them build meaningful relationships and grow professionally.
